Seminars given at the partnership’s Center for Professional Development at the Technical University of Georgia Judy McIvor, E-Learning Instructional Designer for the Distributed Learning Center at Selkirk College, Canada. McIvor’s topic, using Moodle software for on-line education, will assist teachers to prepare instructional materials for use at individual partner colleges and through the NATO network.
 
John Halder, Lali Gogeliani, and Ardith Maney meeting with Gori CC teachers
May 2010 – Meetings held with teachers and administrators at Gori Community College by CCID’s John Halder, Lali Gogeliani, and Ardith Maney. In addition, Halder, Gogeliani, and Maney had discussions in Tbilisi with Minister Dimitry Shashkin and other senior administrators at the Ministry of Education and Science, officials at the U.S. Embassy and the USAID mission, leaders at the International Organization for Migration, and officials from international nongovernmental organizations about means for disseminating the Gori model to other Georgian regions.
